Subscription Terms — Apple App Store

These Apple App Store Subscription Terms apply to subscriptions to Terraform Academy and Terraform Academy Max purchased inside our iOS application. They are provided in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and comply with Apple's App Store Review Guideline 3.1.2(a) for auto-renewable subscriptions.

Subscription Tiers & Pricing

Terraform Academy Pro

3-day free trial, then $9.99 USD / month

Auto-renewing monthly subscription

Includes: full access to all interactive labs, certification prep content (AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, HashiCorp), cloud cost calculator, infrastructure scanner, AI Coach (TCv7) with unlimited messages, progress tracking, badges, and the cross-platform learning hub.

Terraform Academy Max

3-day free trial, then $24.99 USD / month

Auto-renewing monthly subscription

Includes everything in Pro plus: PvP gaming arena, real-time multiplayer code battles, MAX-tier certification simulators, advanced Speed Round drills, premium leaderboards, exclusive MAX events, and priority support.

Both Pro and Max include a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. No charge during the trial. The subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the price above unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period.

How Auto-Renewal Works (Apple App Store)

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price listed above.
Subscriptions may be managed by you, and auto-renewal may be turned off, by going to your Apple ID account settings after purchase: Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions.
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

Length of Subscription

Each subscription is a 1-month auto-renewable subscription that continues until cancelled. Each renewal is charged in advance at the price listed above.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until that date, and you will not be charged again. To cancel:

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Terraform Academy and then Cancel Subscription.

Refunds

All payments made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds for App Store purchases directly. To request a refund, please use Apple's Report a Problem page.

Restoring Purchases

If you have an active subscription and need to restore it on a new device or after reinstalling the app, tap Restore Purchases on the subscription screen inside the app. Restoring requires the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Cross-Platform Access

A single Terraform Academy account works across iOS, the web, and our Progressive Web App (PWA). After purchase you will be prompted to set your account email and password so you can sign in on every device. Your subscription entitlement is honored everywhere you sign in.

Terms of Use (EULA)

Use of this application is governed by our Terms of Service. If you choose not to accept a custom end-user license agreement, the use of the application is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) .
