This policy explains what data Terraform Academy collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the terraformacademy.app site and the Terraform Academy ChatGPT plugin.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address, used to sign you in.
- Subscription information: your plan tier (Free, Pro, or MAX), status, and renewal date, used to unlock the right content.
- Usage data: which labs, quizzes, and certifications you complete, used to track progress and improve the service.
What we do not collect
We do not store your password. Sign-in is handled by Supabase, our authentication provider, and passwords are never saved by our plugin or workers. We do not sell your data.
How we use your data
- To authenticate you and enforce your subscription tier inside the ChatGPT plugin.
- To save your learning progress, streaks, and certification readiness.
- To send service and account notices by email.
Third parties
- Supabase: authentication and database storage.
- Stripe: payment processing for subscriptions, via our own API.
- OpenAI: when you use the ChatGPT plugin, your requests are processed by OpenAI.
Data retention and security
We keep your account and progress data for as long as your account exists. Access to subscriber data is restricted and enforced with row-level security. We do not receive or retain your payment card details; Stripe handles payments directly.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or delete your account at any time. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
